A Chinese company will begin construction of a solar panel manufacturing facility in Azerbaijan's Alat Free Economic Zone within the next few weeks, Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Board of the Zone's Authorized Body, said at the Technovation Forum in Baku.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan and China's Eging PV Technology Co., Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding for the construction of a solar power station in Tajikistan's Panj free economic zone (FEZ), News.az reports.
