Chairmanship of the Global South NGO Platform has been granted to Azerbaijan with the consent of NGOs from 116 countries.

The newly launched Global South NGO Platform will focus on addressing regional and global challenges through initiatives, Professor Almir Lima Nascimento, Director of the Institute for Research on International Relations of Brazil, said on Monday.

The Global South NGO Platform has officially been launched.

A founding conference of the Global South NGO Platform has kicked off in Baku.

A briefing was held today at the office of the Azerbaijan National NGO Forum dedicated to the founding conference of the Global South NGO Platform, which will take place in Baku on April 28–29.
