China will lower import tariffs on a range of products starting in 2026, including key resource-based commodities and selected medical supplies, authorities said on Monday.

China's commerce ministry on Thursday urged the United States to halt its tariff probe into copper imports as soon as possible, vowing to resolutely oppose it if U.S. goes ahead with the action, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.

The Canadian dollar plunged to its lowest level since March 2003 on Monday, following the imposition of 25% tariffs on Canadian imports by the United States on Saturday.
