Lithuania's Prime Minister has called for approximately €34 million in European Union funds to safeguard the nation's vital undersea cables in the Baltic Sea.

The Western Azerbaijan Community on Thursday rebuked the anti-Azerbaijani remarks voiced by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Lithuania’s Interior Minister Agnė Bilotaitė has sent an official letter to EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson asking for financial support to reinforce the protection of the country’s border with Russia, News.Az reports citing Lithuanian media.
