Japanese investment bank Nomura Holdings on Monday denied a Bloomberg report claiming the firm was investigating its India fixed-income unit for allegedly inflating profits in recent years.

Nomura now expects the U.S. Federal Reserve to cut interest rates by 25 basis points in September, moving up its forecast after July data showed cooling inflation and early signs of labor market weakness.

In a note to clients published Monday, Nomura analysts discussed the potential risk of a collapse in U.S. tech stocks and rate cut expectations, News.az reports citing Investing .
