President Ilham Aliyev has laid the foundation stone for a new polypropylene and laminated bag production facility in Azerbaijan’s Sumgayit Industrial Park, marking another step in the country’s industrial expansion and local manufacturing development.

President Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration of a new cardboard and box packaging production facility at the Sumgayit Industrial Park on January 27, further strengthening Azerbaijan’s non-oil manufacturing sector.

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with General Manager of the BYD Commercial Vehicle Division Tian Chunlong.

On April 30, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park to inaugurate the construction chemicals production plant of "Kartash Kimya" LLC and the factory of "Az-Tex-Import" LLC for the production of IVECO-branded trucks and special-purpose vehicles.
