Ukraine has reportedly carried out overnight strikes on military-linked facilities in Russia’s Tambov and Volgograd regions, according to local authorities and independent media, in what appears to be part of Kyiv’s ongoing campaign to hit strategic targets deep inside Russian territory.

A fire broke out at an oil depot in Russia’s Tambov Oblast and several fuel tanks were damaged in the neighboring Voronezh Oblast after reported overnight drone strikes attributed to Ukraine, according to local officials and media.

A Ukrainian drone set an oil depot in the central Tambov region, Russia, ablaze early Friday, regional authorities said, News.Az reports citing AFP.
