Azerbaijani Ambassador Polad Bulbuloglu appealed to his compatriots living in Russia, urging them to avoid going to the state border between the two countries amid the tense coronavirus situation, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told News.Az.

Azerbaijan has confirmed 40 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), while 50 patients have already recovered from the infection, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers announced Sunday.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been discharged from a London hospital and will continue his recovery from COVID-19 at his country residence of Chequers, his office said on Sunday, Reuters reported.
