Azerbaijan’s positive balance from foreign trade turnover nears $5.5B
In January-March 2018 Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to AZN 5,546,139,380, up 34.64% or AZN 1,427,059,630 compared to a year earlier.
According to statistics of the State Customs Committee, import operations rose by 44.84% or $678,331,820 to $2,191,105,510, export operations surged 28.72% or $748,727,810 to $3,355,033,870.
As a consequence, positive balance amounted to $1,163,928,360, up $70,395,990 or 6.44% in comparison to a year earlier.
