LeBron James recorded 31 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers emphatically ended their three-game losing streak with a 141-116 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night.

Luka Doncic added 27 points and 12 assists, helping the Lakers build a 32-point lead early in the second half and withstand a late rally by Atlanta. Since acquiring Doncic nearly a year ago, Los Angeles has lost four straight games only once, News.Az reports, citing foreign media.

Playing the second game of his first back-to-back appearances in his unprecedented 23rd NBA season, James came just short of his first triple-double since February 1 in New York—a day remembered for the Lakers’ blockbuster trade for Doncic later that night.

For the Hawks, Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 26 points and CJ McCollum added 25. Corey Kispert contributed 19 points, thriving alongside McCollum in just their second game with Atlanta since being traded from Washington for Trae Young.

Jake LaRavia and Deandre Ayton each scored 17 points for Los Angeles, who made 19 three-pointers after going 8 of 36 in Monday’s blowout loss at Sacramento.

Despite left groin soreness, Doncic nailed three consecutive 3-pointers while leading a 17-0 run in the second quarter. The Lakers shot nearly 62% overall and held an 81-60 halftime advantage, their highest-scoring half of the season. Los Angeles extended the lead with a 12-1 run after the break, weathered a late push from Atlanta, and pulled away for good.

Rui Hachimura contributed seven points off the bench in a limited return from a seven-game injury absence. Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) and Zaccharie Risacher (knee) did not play on the Hawks’ trip.
