Azerbaijani and Pakistani senior naval officials met in Islamabad on Friday to discuss the current state and future prospects of cooperation between the two countries’ navies.

Pursuant to the current year's training plan, exercises were held in the Azerbaijani Navy on the topics of "Organization of the ship's defense against underwater sabotage" and "Organization of the ship's struggle for sustainability at anchor."

In accordance with the training plan for 2025, live-fire tactical exercise was held with the Azerbaijan Naval Forces’ Marine Units.

Joint practical sessions involving Azerbaijani and Turkish military seamen were held aboard the ships of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces.

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with a delegation led by Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces, who is currently on an official visit to the country.

A delegation of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces led by the First Deputy Commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces - Chief of Staff, 1st grade Captain Teymur Murshudov visited Ankara to participate in the 10th Staff Talks between the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

Exercise on “Conducting battle in snowdrifts and severe cold” was held with the Azerbaijan Naval Forces Marine Units.

A delegation led by Deputy Commandant of Pakistan Navy War College, Commodore Ehsan Ahmed Khan, along with participants of the Academy's Navy Staff Course, visited the Azerbaijan Naval Forces.

The Azerbaijan Naval Forces’ Marine Infantry Units have conducted exercises.

“SAT-SAS-2024” joint exercise held at the Aksaz Naval Base in Marmaris, Türkiye, with the participation of the underwater offence and underwater defense units of the Azerbaijani and Turkish Naval Forces continues.
