Etihad Airways became the first airline to depart from Frankfurt Airport’s newly opened Terminal 3, as flight EY122 took off for Abu Dhabi at 10:30 local time.

An Air Canada Boeing 787-9 encountered an in-flight incident after one of its pilots became incapacitated while cruising over Turkmenistan, according to aviation reports.

India’s aviation regulator has directed Air India to carry out inspections of the emergency power system, known as the Ram Air Turbine (RAT), on several of its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft following a recent in-flight deployment incident.

Boeing announced a $1 billion investment to expand its South Carolina facilities in order to expand production of the 787 Dreamliner.
