Chinese scientists have unveiled the world’s first fully automated processor chip design system powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi announced on Monday its plans to invest a minimum of 50 billion yuan (approximately $6.93 billion) in chip design over the next ten years.

The first national microchip design centre was launched during a ceremony attended by Iran's Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ruhollah Dehghani, News.Az reports citing IRNA.
