Azerbaijan’s strategic foreign exchange reserves increased by $14 billion by the end of 2025, reaching $85.1 billion, Central Bank Chairman Taleh Kazimov said on Wednesday.

India’s foreign exchange (forex) reserves declined by $9.809 billion to $686.801 billion during the week ending January 2, according to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) weekly bulletin released on Friday.

As of October 1, 2025, Azerbaijan’s strategic currency reserves, including the State Oil Fund and the Central Bank, totaled $81.5 billion, News.Az reports, citing local media.

In the first eight months of 2024, Azerbaijan’s strategic currency reserves increased by 6.1%, reaching $72.6 billion, according to the country’s Central Bank.
