Kyrgyzstan’s civil aviation sector could be removed from the European Union’s Air Safety List after nearly two decades of restrictions, President Sadyr Zhaparov announced Thursday.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived at the Presidential Administration in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, to participate in the 11th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

“The ever-expanding Azerbaijani-Kyrgyz ties, now elevated to the level of strategic partnership, draw strength from the mutual respect and will of our peoples, who have historically lived in friendship and are bound by unbreakable ties,” President Ilham Aliyev said in his congratulatory letter to President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov on the occasion of Independence Day, News.Az reports.
