German automaker Volkswagen is recalling 44,551 ID.4 electric vehicles in the US through two separate actions linked to potential battery-related fire risks, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Tuesday.

Chinese automaker BYD announced its largest recall to date, involving more than 115,000 Tang series and Yuan Pro vehicles manufactured between 2015 and 2022.

Ford is recalling nearly 274,000 of its Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs in the U.S. due to a potentially dangerous brake defect that could lead to a loss of braking power while driving.

Ford Motor Co. is recalling 64,522 vehicles for various problems, according to statements released by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Wednesday.
