Another Azerbaijani judoka claims world gold

Azerbaijani judoka Zelym Kotsoiev won the gold medal at the World Championships held in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, News.az reports.

He defeated Canadian Shady El Nahas in the men’s 100kg weight final.

Azerbaijan is represented in the competition by 11 judokas. Earlier, Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) became the world champion.
