Azerbaijan appoints new ambassadors to several countries

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev on Friday signed an order on the appointment of Tahir Taghizade as the country’s ambassador to Hungary.

Earlier, Taghizade was recalled from the post of ambassador of Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ireland, Iceland, and Denmark upon another presidential order.

By another presidential order, Vilayat Guliyev was recalled from the post of Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Hungary.

President Aliyev also signed orders on the appointment of Kamil Khasiyev and Irfan Davudov as Azerbaijan’s ambassadors to Serbia and Malaysia respectively.

Besides, Qaley Allahverdiyev was recalled from the post of Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Brunei Darussalam upon another presidential order.

Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani president recalled Galib Israfilov from the country’s ambassador to Austria, Slovenia and Slovakia.

By another presidential order, Israfilov was recalled from the post of Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Vienna (Austria), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization.

Upon another presidential order, Rovshan Sadikhbeyli was appointed Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Austria.

Sadikhbeyli was also appointed Azerbaijan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Vienna, the OSCE, the UNIDO, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).
