Earthquake jolts Caspian Sea, shakes nearby areas

A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck the Caspian Sea on Monday, News.Az reports, citing the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The tremor occurred at a depth of 74 kilometers and was recorded at 05:57 local time.
