Ilham Aliyev holds talks with Slovakia’s Deputy PM in Munich
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met Slovakia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Robert Kaliňák in Munich on Friday to discuss bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the leaders highlighted the strategic nature of the partnership between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, noting that it is built on mutual understanding and support, News.Az reports, citing AZERTAC.

They recalled President Aliyev’s official visit to Slovakia in December last year, emphasising that high-level mutual visits have played a significant role in developing ties between the two countries.
Aliyev and Kaliňák also discussed opportunities to expand cooperation across various sectors, particularly underscoring the growth of their military-technical partnership and exchanging views on its future prospects.
