The title was chosen by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, replacing a different internal name previously used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for the strikes, News.Az reports, citing Israeli media.
The previous IDF operation targeting Iran, conducted in June 2025, was called “Rising Lion.”
