Lightning strike kills two Azerbaijani border guards
On June 9, Major Bakhish Elshan oglu Bakhishli and Private Ali Elshan oglu Nagiyev, both servicemen of the State Border Service (SBS), tragically died as a result of a lightning strike while performing their duties to guard the state border in the service territory of the Lankaran border detachment of the Border Troops, News.Az reports, citing the SBS press service.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
