Nasdaq plans to open regional headquarters in Texas

Exchange operator Nasdaq said on Tuesday it will open a new regional headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
The announcement comes just a month after rival New York Stock Exchange committed to launch an exchange in the state, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.
Several high-profile firms have stepped up their presence in the state in recent years, attracted by its perceived favorable legal and regulatory environment.
