President Ilham Aliyev addresses congress of ruling New Azerbaijan Party
The 7th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) has been held.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the congress in a video format.
The national anthem was played.
“Dear members of the New Azerbaijan Party, first of all, I request that we commemorate our heroic martyrs who died in the Patriotic War with a minute of silence,” the head of state said.
A minute’s silence was observed in memory of the martyrs of the Patriotic war.
