Ruben Vardanyan court hearing set to resume Feb. 10
The court hearing in the criminal case against Armenian citizen Ruben Vardanyan will continue on February 10.
Vardanyan is accused under multiple articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including charges related to crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, terrorism, financing of terrorism, and other serious offenses, News.Az reports, citing local media.
Proceedings in the case had previously been postponed indefinitely on December 30. The delay was linked to the judicial panel’s ongoing deliberations in a separate criminal case involving 15 Armenian citizens.

The reason is the ongoing deliberation by the judicial panel, presided over by Judge Zeynal Aghayev and consisting of judges Anar Rzayev and Jamal Ramazanov (with reserve judge Gunel Samadova), in a separate case involving 15 Armenian citizens.
Accordingly, the next hearing in Ruben Vardanyan's case will be held after the panel concludes its deliberations.
