The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has signed a licensing agreement with FIFA to manage the international image of Azerbaijani football.

AFFA President Rovshan Najaf and President of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Syed Mohsen Gilani have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing football cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, News.Az reports, citing AFFA. 

The football federations of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have officially submitted a joint bid to host the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Portuguese manager Fernando Santos signed a three-year contract with the Azerbaijan national football team with the option of a further year, Vice-President of Azerbaijan’s Association of Football Federations (AFFA) Sarkhan Hajiyev said at a press conference on Thursday, News.Az reports.
