Sales of imported cars in South Korea posted strong double-digit growth last month, driven by rising demand for electric vehicles and German luxury brands, industry data showed Friday.

Japan’s Mazda has surged to sixth place in Russian car sales despite leaving the market in 2022, according to data from Autostat.

Tesla has raised lease prices for all of its U.S. models after the $7,500 federal electric vehicle tax credit, which had spurred strong EV sales, expired, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.

"Currently, in Russia, there are significant difficulties in making payments with Chinese partners. There are no clear solutions or specific timelines for resolving this issue. As a result, it is impossible to purchase Chinese spare parts and deliver them to Russia because they cannot be paid for. The same situation applies to cars and many other goods," said Alexey Podschekoldin, President of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association, in an exclusive interview with News.Az.
