The Organizing Committee for COP29 of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change held its seventh meeting on October 1.

On August 27, Samir Nuriyev, Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 29th session of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29), along with other committee members, toured the Baku Olympic Stadium, News.Az reports citing Azertag.

In a bid to bolster the efforts of Azerbaijan’s government agencies to align with global climate goals, the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company has rolled out an extensive training programme focused on enhancing sustainability competencies. Spanning a three-week period from the 8th to the 26th of July, the programme included a blend of online training sessions and live information-sharing modules.

The Organizing Committee convened its fourth meeting in preparation for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), News.Az reports.
