New prototypes of Türkiye’s domestically developed combat aircraft KAAN have been unveiled as part of the ongoing development program led by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI).

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Wednesday that Türkiye will produce and export 48 fighter jets, named KAAN, to Indonesia under a new defense agreement.

The United States has revised its stance on the sale of F-35 fighter jets to Türkiye following the country's advancements in developing its own KAAN fighter jet, according to Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Güler.
