A Thai soldier was seriously injured Tuesday after stepping on a landmine near the Cambodian border, just days after the two countries agreed to a ceasefire following deadly clashes last month.

Finland has officially submitted its intention to withdraw from the Ottawa Anti-Personnel Landmines Convention, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement on Thursday, July 10.

The United Nations (UN) expressed sorrow over the recent landmine incidents that left four people, including young children, severely injured, as reported by the UN in Azerbaijan on X.
