Explosion hits military site near Aleppo airport

An explosion erupted on Friday at a military facility near Aleppo International Airport in northern Syria.
Columns of smoke rose at the explosion site, quickly covering the skies over some areas of Aleppo city, News.Az reports, citing Anadolu Agency.
The explosion caused widespread concern in Aleppo.
Syrian authorities have not yet issued a statement regarding the blast.
