Israel and Jordan held secret talks on Syria

Representatives of defense and security agencies of Israel and Jordan held secret talks to coordinate their action in respect of the situation in Syria, News.az reports citing the Axios web portal.
The parties discussed the situation in Syria and the interaction of Israel and Jordan with groups that are forming the caretaker government. The topic of the growing threat of weapons smuggling to the West Bank was discussed at the meeting, which may lead to aggravation of the situation in the Palestinian territory.
Note that Israel and Jordan bordering on Syria say they want to work together on solving common security problems. Jordan is the main mediator between Israel and Syrian groups, including the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham
