Norwegian oil and gas company becomes main gas supplier to Europe
Norway's Equinor ASA has become the main gas supplier to Europe.
Norway exports 30% of its gas to Europe, News.Az reports citing Bloomberg.Last year, the country supplied European countries with more than 109 billion cubic meters of natural gas, of which approximately two thirds were sold by Equinor ASA.
Gazprom had been the main gas supplier to Europe until February 2022 since the company provided about 35% of Europe's gas needs.
