Peter Magyar has officially assumed office as Hungary’s new prime minister after defeating Viktor Orbán in the election.
Magyar's swearing-in ceremony took place without Orban, who resigned from his position as a member of parliament, News.Az reports, citing Ynet Global.
Magyar said at the ceremony that he "promises to serve Hungary and not to rule over it."
