Azerbaijan’s total electricity production rose by 12.1 million kWh (0.1%) in the first nine months of 2025, reaching 21,798.7 million kWh.

In the first seven months of 2024, Azerbaijan’s total electricity production reached 16,269.0 million kWh.

In the first five months of 2024, the share of green energy in Azerbaijan’s power generation increased to 14%, the Energy Ministry said in an X post on World Renewable Energy Day.

According to operational data for January-April 2024, total electricity production in Azerbaijan amounted to 9248.6 million kWh during the last four months, the Energy Ministry said on Wednesday, News.Az reports.
