Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence says it has arrested the leader of a separatist militant group along with 34 other individuals described as “agents of the American-Zionist enemy” in coordinated operations across six provinces.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has condemned Argentina’s decision to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation, saying the move was made under pressure from Israel and Washington.

Iran’s Intelligence Ministry says it has arrested 54 individuals allegedly working for the United States and Israel across four provinces, describing the operation as a blow to espionage networks and terrorist cells inside the country.

The coordinated activities of special service agencies are a key to combating international terrorism, Ali Naghiyev, Chief of the Azerbaijani State Security Service, said on Tuesday.
