Traffic at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey was temporarily interrupted on Wednesday after a JetBlue flight headed to Florida experienced an engine failure during takeoff and was forced to return, authorities confirmed.

Fifteen people were taken to the hospital after a skydiving aircraft radioed it was having engine trouble after takeoff and crashed on landing near an airport in southern New Jersey on Wednesday, according to authorities.

Around 300 passengers and staff have been evacuated from Jersey Airport following a security incident, according to police.
