U.S. President Donald Trump has shifted toward a firmer stance on Russia following months of influence by Republican foreign policy hawks, with Special Envoy Keith Kellogg playing a key role.

Keith Kellogg, the US President's Special Envoy for Ukraine, arrived in Kyiv on Monday.

U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg will attend a high-level international aid conference in Rome on July 10–11, an Italian government source confirmed Tuesday.

Kellogg, who was acting national security advisor during Trump's first term, had previously served as a special envoy for both Ukraine and Russia.
