Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkmenistan ink gas swap deal
Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkmenistan signed a gas swap agreement in Ashgabat on Sunday, News.Az reports.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi on the sidelines of the ECO Summit in Ashgabat.
Under the agreement, up to two billion cubic meters of gas will be delivered from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan through Iran per year.
