Azerbaijani, Iranian envoys in Belarus discuss regional situation

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Belarus, Maharram Aliyev, met with his Iranian counterpart, Alirza Sanei, according to a post by Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Belarus on X.

During the meeting, the Azerbaijani ambassador informed his Iranian counterpart about the reconstruction and restoration work in the Eastern Zangazur and Karabakh economic regions.

"The parties discussed the current situation and prospects of relations between two countries, exchanged views on current international issues, the regional situation, as well as a number of other issues of mutual interest," the embassy stated.
