Iran's Pezeshkian describes first meeting with Khamenei as ‘warm and sincere’
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said his recent meeting with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei took place in a “warm and sincere” atmosphere, highlighting what he described as the Leader’s personal and managerial qualities.
Speaking during a visit to the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade on Wednesday, Pezeshkian said the meeting lasted nearly two and a half hours and was marked by what he called open and direct discussions, News.Az reports, citing Iran's English-language Press TV.
He said what stood out most was the Supreme Leader’s “humble, sincere and respectful” manner of engagement, which, in his words, created an environment of trust, calm and empathy.

Pezeshkian stressed the importance of strengthening cohesion, trust and mutual understanding across the country’s administrative system.
He added that when the highest-ranking official in the country demonstrates such an approach, it serves as a model for governance based on responsibility, proximity to the public and attentiveness to social concerns.
According to the president, the meeting was conducted in a spirit of simplicity, humility and mutual respect, allowing for what he described as a direct and frank exchange of views.
