Iran’s Assembly of Experts to meet to choose supreme leader

Iran’s Assembly of Experts are set to meet to choose the country’s next supreme leader, after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed last week.
“With divine assistance, this session will occur within the next 24 hours,” Hossein Mozafari, a member of the body said, News.Az reports, citing Aljazeera.
He urged Iranians not to speculate or spread rumours in the meantime.
