Israel welcomes decision to pardon blogger Lapshin
The Israeli Foreign Ministry welcomes the decision of the Azerbaijani authorities to pardon blogger Alexander Lapshin.
"The Foreign Ministry is satisfied with the pardon granted to Lapshin by the President of Azerbaijan and we will be glad to see him in Israel as soon as possible," Israeli Foreign Ministry Spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon said in a statement.
