UK appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

The United Kingdom has appointed a new ambassador to Azerbaijan, according to the UK government.
Duncan Norman has been appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan, succeeding Fergus Auld. He is expected to take up his post in May 2026, News.Az reports, citing AZERTAC.
“I am honored to be appointed as the next UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
