Congolese authorities and a civil society group announced on Thursday that mass graves were discovered in an area of eastern Congo recently vacated by the M23 militia.

Azerbaijan has discovered 29 mass graves in its territories liberated from occupation, President Ilham Aliyev has announced. 

Twenty-three mass graves have been discovered in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories since 2021.

More than 12 mass graves were discovered Monday in Daraa Governorate in southern Syria containing the remains of bodies believed to be civilians killed by the regime of ousted leader Bashar Assad.

Excavations conducted in Azerbaijani territories liberated from the Armenian occupation have unearthed 18 mass graves, from which the remains of 169 individuals have been exhumed.
