US President Donald Trump announced Thursday that Kazakhstan has agreed to formally join the Abraham Accords, the series of normalization agreements he brokered between Israel and Muslim-majority nations.

US special envoy Steve Witkoff revealed that the Trump administration will announce tonight that another country will join the Abraham Accords.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday emphasized the importance of expanding the Abraham Accords to include more Middle Eastern countries, saying such efforts are vital to ensuring peace in the region.

The Trump administration is in active discussions with Azerbaijan about the potential inclusion of the nation, along with some Central Asian allies, in the Abraham Accords, aiming to strengthen their ties with Israel, according to five sources familiar with the matter.

At the end of October 2025, the Conference of European Rabbis (CER), led by Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, will hold a major three-day event in Azerbaijan aimed at strengthening ties between Azerbaijan, Israel, and the entire Jewish people.
