Finland has announced a fresh €2 million (approximately $2.23 million) aid package to support Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, arriving at a critical moment as global humanitarian funding faces severe cuts.

Finland's defence forces ‌said on Wednesday they suspected a ​Russian military aircraft ​had violated Finnish airspace ⁠while evading ​a thunderstorm in the ​Gulf of Finland.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb stated that European governments should start direct talks with Russia, emphasizing that Europe needs a more independent diplomatic role in managing the war in Ukraine.

Ukraine is ready to send an expert group to Finland to share its experience and help protect Finnish airspace, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said on Monday.

Ukrainian drone operators took part in the Mighty Arrow 26 military exercises held in Finland, bringing their battlefield experience to international training.
