The United Arab Emirates has successfully dispatched an additional 100 tonnes of essential food supplies to the Egyptian city of Al Arish as part of its ongoing humanitarian mission for the Gaza Strip.

The U.N. World Food Programme (WFP) warned on February 20 that its life-saving food and nutrition aid in Somalia could stop by April unless new funding is secured, leaving millions at risk of severe hunger.

The Mexican government on Sunday deployed two navy vessels carrying more than 800 tons of food supplies to Cuba as part of a humanitarian assistance effort, according to a statement from the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs.

The launch ceremony for the Zambia Food Aid Project, funded by China through the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund in partnership with the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), took place on Monday in Lusaka, Zambia’s capital.

The World Food Program (WFP) said on Friday that it reached 4 million people in Sudan in March alone, the highest number since war broke out in April 2023, but warned that aid efforts still cover only a fraction of the population in dire need.
