Air attack sirens blared across northern Israel on Saturday following what the military described as an "infiltration of a hostile aircraft" near the Lebanese border.

Power outages were reported in northern Israel in the towns of Metula and Kiryat Shmona following a missile strike launched from Lebanon.

Approximately 40 rockets were identified crossing from Lebanon into the Upper Galilee and Haifa Bay on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of two people in Israel's Kiryat Shmona city, according to the Magen David Adom (MDA), a national emergency medical service.
