Russia said Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on Moscow on Tuesday.

Ukraine launched its most significant drone strike on Moscow to date on Sunday, deploying at least 25 drones, which led to the temporary closure of two major airports in the Russian capital, according to Russian officials.

Russia said on Tuesday that it intercepted at least 15 drones targeting Moscow overnight, causing fires in residential areas, resulting in one fatality, and leading to the suspension of over 30 flights.

Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed nearly a dozen Ukrainian drones targeting Moscow overnight, marking one of the largest drone attacks on the Russian capital since the onset of the conflict, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
